The Future Guitarist Star in 18th International Journalism

On June 9th last weekend, a small campus music concert was held in the Students Centre. The hallwas full of audience more than 50. Atmosphere was ignited.
Founded half ayear ago, the band called Beauty Heart Arsonist consists of 5 freshmen andsophomore,majoring in Advertisement, International Journalism, Civil Engineering, Journalism and Dynamics respectively.
Hody, theguitarist from Hong Kong, fired up the show and aroused girls’ crazy screaming.
Hody gotinvitation from the other 4 members when he was busking in the campusthreemonths ago. He is a little introvert and preferred to stay at his dormitory.After he joined the band, he often goes to bars and discos with his bandmembers.
The band hasprepared for the performance for three months, assembling to choose songs andmake rehearsals.But it’s not an easy task to make all of the instruments matchwell.
They were practicingand promoting the day before the formal performance. “In fact, we hadn’t finishedthe practicing, but luckily everybody did a great job.”
“I am reallynervous and worried about if we could get the audience excited,” Hody said before the performance. “However, when I was standing on the stage and felt thelight shine my face, all the pressure was gone.” He added. “I got super excitedon the stage.”
Hody hurt hisfingers when playing basketball two days before the performance, and he foundthe music go wrong several minutes before the show.But he made it.
Although Hody isinto playing guitar, he has never dreamed to be a professional guitarist. “In China, parents are unwilling to allow their children to devote into art.” Hodysaid. “Kids of foreign countries are able to touch all kinds of art at youth.The differences between China and foreign countries when it comes to arteducation are huge.”
“Beatles listened to Elvis in adolescence, and when they became famous,they affected the Queen Band.”Hody added. “The previousgeneration which has received the literacy from their former generation influences the next generation and thus lays a good foundation.”
